Throughout my entire career in IT, I've been working in agile environments. Each with their own implementations, ways of working and team setups.

Having worked with organisations implementing scrum for the very first time, but also multi-year experienced teams and other ever changing environments!

Officially certified since 2015, with hands-on experience dating back to 2011.

Experience

Over the years, I've had the pleasure of working on & with some big brands within the Netherlands. Each facing their own challenges of course.

Technical background

My career started as an all-round web developer, and I further specialised in frontend development. During this time I also worked in agile environments, which increased my interest and eventually resulted in a change of role. The technical interest still exists, and my developer background allows me to easily communicate with highly technical teams. In this way I'm able to bridge gaps between developers and (non-technical) stakeholders.

During my time as a developer, I maintained a more frontend development related website at ameijer.nl.

Situational Leadership

I'm a firm believer of situational leadership. Based on the experience of all individuals and maturity of the team, there's different approaches how to further improve and grow.
